FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS...

Q.  When will I receive my tickets?
A.  Tickets will be posted out by late June 2018

Q.  What are the expected timings for the day?
A.  3.00PM - CAR PARK OPENS
     4.00PM - ENTRY TO THE LAWN FOR PRIORITY TICKET HOLDERS, VIP's and GAZEBO TICKETS ONLY
     5.00PM - ENTRY TO THE LAWN FOR GENERAL ADMISSION TICKET HOLDERS
     5.30PM - Support entertainment starts
     7.30PM - CONCERT STARTS
     10.15 / 10.30PM - CONCERT ENDS
    There will be a 20 minute interval during the concert.

Q.  Is there parking on site?
A.  The Car Park opens at 3.00pm, please do not arrive before 3pm. Please make your way down the main castle drive     
      and you will be directed in to the car park. There is NO dropping of passengers or picnic on the drive itself - this is 
      very important to allow ease of access to the car park.

      Blue badge holders will be directed to park in car park B. Please follow signage and directions from stewards.

      Please note there is NO parking behind the castle for any vehicles.

Q.  If we are coming by our own mini bus or coach - where do we park?
A.  All buses and coaches this year will be directed in to the main car park and should head to the drop off point located 
      in the car park where all passengers can disembark and make their way to the ticket checkpoint.

      Buses and coaches not staying on site during the event will leave via The Mains Of Glamis exit only. When returning to collect - head to the        drop off zone once again.

Q.  Whats the best way to leave the event?
A.  When leaving the Prom - you may be directed to exit via 2 exits - if you are parked in Car Park A - you will leave by 
      The Mains of Glamis by exiting from the bottom of the car park field. If you are parked in Car Park B you will leave by         the main drive. See the map below..

Q.  Where do I pick up my tickets if they have not been received?
A.  If you have been advised to pick up tickets on arrival - please park your vehicle and head to the relevant box office at 
      the bottom of the drive to collect your tickets and / or wristbands.  Ticket will NOT be posted out AFTER 7th July.

Q.  Do I need to bring my own food and drinks?
A.  While many people enjoy bringing a picnic and a bottle of fizz with them, there will be hot food & cool drinks outlets 
      available onsite. Please do ensure at the end of the evening you bag up all your rubbish and either take it home or             deposit it in one of the bins provided on site.  Picnics are available to buy from our website should you wish.

Q. I am disabled and wish to bring my carer with me.  Do I need a tickets for them?
A. Yes.  You need to email us at info@glamisprom.com with proof of being a carer and we can arrange to send you with a carers pass.  If you wish to site in the VIP area - you would need to purchase the VIP upgrade only for your carer.

Q. Can I bring an umbrella?
A. Yes. We would hate for you to get wet and equally hate for you to get sun burnt!  Please be mindful of others and bring one of an appropriate size.


OTHER BITS AND BOBS...

Glamis Castle will be closed to the public on Saturday 25th August so you will not be able to visit the castle before hand.

The event site this year will have clearly marked pathways to allow easier access to around the garden - please take care not to sit or place chairs and tables in these areas. We need to keep access available at all times in the unlikely event of a medical situation.

Please note BBQ are not permitted at the event.

While we are expecting a sunny evening, please bring clothing appropriate for an outdoor event.
